Frédéric François Chopin (February 22 or March 1, 1810 – October 17, 1849) was a Romantic-era Polish composer. He was born in Warsaw, but left in 1830. He settled in Paris in 1831 and lived there for the remainder of his life.
All of Chopin's compositions included the piano, and the vast majority were written for the solo piano.
